St Remio Tea Time Series: Relax
Relax
Life is busy. Between work commitments, family commitments, and the daily run around, time to ourselves is a rare commodity. In celebration of the St Remio nutraceutical Nespresso* tea range, we explore the idea of ‘Relaxation’ and give you some tips to gain control of your ‘you’ time!
- Sip relaxation tea
Instead of letting life’s stresses getting to you, why not get comfortable on the couch with a hot cup of relaxation tea. Beneficial because it includes ingredients such as orange zest (helping with insomnia), Hawthorn (helps to induce calm) and chamomile, you’ll be in a floaty state of bliss in no time.
- Meditate
Mediating doesn’t have to mean an escape to the mountains. 5 minutes of peace is sometimes all the body needs to relax, unwind and recharge. Find a quiet spot, close your eyes, concentrate on your breath and get in tune with yourself before you tackle the day ahead.
- Talk to a friend
When you’ve really got something on your mind, sometimes all it takes is talking through this with a friend. Sometimes we underestimate the power of listening, and it can take off a massive load when voicing your stress and concerns to a loved one. We get caught up in our lives and sometimes think we are alone, and this technique may be all it takes to remind us that life isn’t as hard as we sometimes work it up to be!
- Treat yourself
It may sound simple, but taking a moment to treat our bodies to some R&R can be just what it takes to get you off an anxiety ridden track. Massages are one of the best ways to find some ‘you’ time, and can be especially helpful to people who are constantly stressed, as our bodies and muscles take a lot of strain when you’re not feeling 100%.
- Squeeze a stress ball
Instead of strangling your co-worker on the next desk, your partner or your BFF, grab yourself a stress ball and let out all your frustrations. It’s an easy, affordable and non-drastic way to relieve all those tensions!
