Good Cup Bad Cup
A good coffee could be a half-strength cappuccino, if that’s your thing. It could be a long double espresso or a black filter coffee.
It’s subjective, depending on you and your tastes on any given day. But there are some essential qualities to a ‘good’ cup of coffee that not even the most hard-core of revolutionaries would deny. A good coffee shouldn’t taste like charcoal or potatoes, it shouldn’t be underwhelming and let’s face it, it really shouldn’t have come from an industry that exploits its workers. But we can say for sure that good coffee should be delicious, perhaps complex and it should bring out the best (or at least the most interesting) in every bean.
Yep, behind every great cup of coffee is a great bean, well roasted. Knowing your flavours, so that you can easily find the perfect base on which to build the brew that’s right for you.
